Thanks for commenting on my Hens and Chicks post. You're correct, they are plants. Little baby plants grow out of the older plants which is how they got their name. The baby plants grow out on a stem that you can stick in dirt and start a new plant. I thought about sending you some to start your own but discovered that Australia doesn't allow plants to come into the country by mail. I guess that's smart, who knows what you'd end up with!
